I started as a college newspaper editor, chasing quotes and cutting copy until it earned its space. That instinct never left.
For 20 years I carried a quota in B2B enterprise telecom — selling AT&T fiber and Spectrum Enterprise infrastructure to companies that don't buy on a whim. I learned to listen for the one detail that closes a deal, and to translate technical complexity into language a decision-maker actually acts on. I got CCNA-trained so I understood what I was selling, and I earned an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine so I understood the money behind the decision.
Then I started building. I engineered production AI systems in Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL — including a financial-data platform tracking more than 37,000 securities. Not prototypes; systems that run.
Today I put all of it into one practice. I record clients, transcribe their exact words, and build the deliverable from what they actually said — accelerated by an AI stack I built and control. The result sounds like the client because it is the client, shipped at a speed a solo writer couldn't hit alone.
I interview like a journalist, listen like a seller, and ship like an engineer.
H9K Systems is based in Los Angeles. I also serve as Regional Manager, West Coast, for U.S. Community Solar — the same extraction-and-translation work, pointed at a different industry.
